NASHVILLE, TN – Bandit Lites is thrilled to support artist Cuco on his current Ridin’ Tour, providing a vibrant and atmospheric lighting package that perfectly complements his dreamy, genre-defying sound. Designed by Martin Phillips and programmed by John Adamo, the show brings together color, rhythm, and movement to create an immersive visual experience that draws fans deep into Cuco’s world.
The lighting rig features a thoughtful combination of Robe PixelPATT fixtures and Chauvet Color Strike M units, all controlled through a grandMA3 Full console. Together, these tools allow Adamo to craft moments of warmth, motion, and texture that mirror the emotional range of Cuco’s performance.
Bandit Client Representative Mark Scherer shared, “John’s use of each fixture and their unique style is always amazing to see come together. The PixelPATTs create an encompassing wall of light that he beautifully blends to surround the artist and band. Cuco’s style of music plays wonderfully into John’s style of design and was truly a pleasure to see come together!”
Lighting Director and Programmer John Adamo added, “I’m always grateful for an opportunity to work with the folks over at Bandit Lites. Every single person we interact with is genuinely invested in our project and makes sure we have the support we need to execute our show night after night. They helped us meet our logistical and budgetary targets without ever having to compromise on our goals for the production.”

At the heart of the design is a distinctive lighting element that gives the stage its signature glow. “The Robe PixelPATTs really serve as the visual centerpiece of the show,” Adamo explained. “We initially had trouble sourcing them since they’re a bit older, but Bandit went above and beyond to help us find a solution. They even coordinated directly with Robe to produce a one-off run, ensuring we had a matching set of brand-new fixtures for the tour.”
Beyond the visual artistry, Bandit’s FlexRack system streamlined the tour’s logistics and efficiency. “Bandit’s FlexRack system is a game-changer,” said Adamo. “If our floor package fixtures had to ride in their original factory cases, it would have eaten up the entire trailer. Bandit designed a custom solution that eliminated every single case and cable trunk, allowing the entire package to fit
in just 8 feet of truck space. The rig was prepped exactly to our needs, and I was able to deploy our four-universe ground package and backdrop by myself in about 60 minutes each day. With over 30 shows in the run, all that saved time adds up. I’m grateful I get to spend most of my day tweaking the show from behind the desk instead of troubleshooting it from the stage.”
Additional gear on the tour includes a TMB Proplex IQ Two 88, D-Link routers, Matthews Hollywood stands, and Mystic Mini hazers, providing a robust and reliable backbone for the production. The combination of technical precision and artistic intent makes Cuco’s Ridin’ Tour a stunning showcase of collaboration between Cuco’s creative team and Bandit Lites.
