Bandit Lites Invests in New Claypaky Gear

Nashville, Tennessee – To keep up with the ever-growing list of tours hitting the road this year, Bandit Lites has invested in expanding their touring inventory with a significant purchase of Claypaky lighting fixtures. Working with Inner Circle Distribution (ICD), Claypaky’s exclusive US distributor and service network partners, this expansion ensures Bandit clients have the latest technology and gear to support multiple large-scale tours simultaneously, further solidifying Bandit’s reputation as the leader in concert lighting.

One substantial purchase has been even more Claypaky Midi-B FX, the compact and powerful moving head fixture that uses high-performance LED technology to deliver versatile effects, including rotating gobos, color wheels and dynamic beam effects. Its fast, precise movements and robust constructions ensure durability for touring as well as outdoor events.

Bandit first provided Midi-B FX on John Adamo’s design for Gary Clark Jr., a choice that garnered acclaim from fans and lighting enthusiasts alike. Demand for the fixtures quickly spiked and Bandit purchased another fleet. Creed sold out venues across the US with designer Mathias Kuhn also using the popular Midi-B FX. The next round can be spotted on Luz Studio’s system for Brooks & Dunn’s Neon Tour. Matthieu Larivee from Luz worked with Lighting Director Andy Knighton on the tour this year.

“We first acquired the Claypaky Midi-B FX for Lighting Designer John Adamo, who showcased their incredible capabilities during his work with Gary Clark Jr. last year,” said Jake Tickle, Bandit Lites VP of Business and Innovation. “These fixtures quickly became a fan favorite, thanks to their dynamic color range and distinct visual personality. Expanding our inventory with more of these units will provide designers with a fresh, unique look that’s sure to elevate their creative possibilities.”

Bandit has also purchased Arolla Profile MP fixtures, a powerful moving head that offers sharp beams, wide washes, a rotating gobo wheel, color wheel and smooth pan-and-tilt movements, all while operating near silently. Its compact and light design has made it an incredible asset for designers, including Mark Cunniffe’s upcoming design for Tom Jones’ tour.

“The Arrola MP is a fully equipped fixture that offers exceptional brightness, precise control, and impressive versatility,” added Tickle. “I’m excited to add it to our lineup because I truly believe it gives designers a powerful toolbox in a compact form, opening up new creative possibilities for any project.”
