Nashville, Tennessee – Bandit clients had a huge night at the 2024 CMA Awards as Megan Moroney, Cody Johnson, Carrie Underwood, Zach Top, Brooks & Dunn and Jamie Johnson showcased their incredible talents to millions of viewers. Bandits Jake Tickle, Mike Stanley, and Chase Strickland were also in attendance.
When Michael T. Strickland discovered a young Megan Moroney in 2021, he knew instantly she had “it”. Her journey since then has been meteoric, as she is not only is she an amazing talent on stage, full of excitement and energy, but she is a phenomenal songwriter, penning all of her hits.
Moroney began the evening with a fierce delivery of her latest hit “Am I OK?” shining in a sparkling silver gown as the audience cheered. Soon after, she kicked off the night winning New Artist of The Year Award. Her 2025 tour is shaping up to be one of the year’s most coveted tickets, as multiple locations have sold out.
Bandit client Cody Johnson then delivered an ethereal duet of “I’m Gonna Love You” with long time Bandit client Carrie Underwood, who herself was as vocally strong as ever and looked stunning. Johnson, one of the newest mega stars in country music, then went on to collect Album of The Year for his latest work, “Leather.” Bandit looks forward to supporting Johnson’s 2025 tour.
One of Bandit’s newest clients and another huge sensation, Zach Top, was featured on the show and was interviewed as well. Nominated for New Artist of the Year as well, his 2025 tour presale is already well underway with fans clamoring for tickets.
Country legends Brooks & Dunn delivered one of the most emotional moments of the evening when they, along with Jellyroll, performed the 2006 CMA Single and Song of the Year “Believe”. The entire audience was in tears throughout the performance. Following a ten year hiatus, Brooks and Dunn have come storming back and picked up their 15th Vocal Duo of the Year Award, as their 2024 and 2025 tours continue to sell out in every market, proof of their staying power has never been more apparent.
Bandit client Jamey Johnson delivered a stunning tribute to George Strait in his one-of-a-kind Jamey fashion. One of the most talented people in the industry, Jamey again showed why he is at the top of the industry.
