Integration Specialist Intern
SUMMARY: Employee will assist in preparation & installation of new theatrical & architectural lighting system projects and renovations. Assist with the needs of the Integration division by way of testing & preparing gear and systems for shipment and installation. Collect and review drawings and other documentation for Integration projects. Travel as needed in support of the Integration team on new and existing installs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Understand, abide, and instill the philosophy, policies, and procedures of the “Bandit Standard.”
- Assist with preparation of sales orders, testing gear, pulling & preparing inventory for shipment, executing shipments from stock.
- Assist in technical services for Integration projects, including terminations, rack wiring, equipment mounting.
- Read and interpret Bandit Integration & architectural engineering drawings as taught.
- Assist the Integration division in the generation of accurate system and design proposals & drawings as taught.
- Other related duties as assigned.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Proficient with Microsoft Office, Teams & Zoom; AutoCAD software experience; use of basic office equipment. Use of power tools, hand tools, measuring devices. Valid Driver’s License & Passport

- Working understanding of the theory and practical application of lighting controls.
- Hands-on, production related experience with a wide variety of theatrical and concert lighting equipment. Examples include: ETC, MA, AVOLITES, CHAUVET, ELATION, AYRTON, VL, MARTIN, CHAIN MOTORS & CONTROL, POWER & DATA DISTRIBUTION.
- Must have practical experience working in environments such as: Church, Theatre, Entertainment Complexes.
- Reliable, flexible, and dependable
- Self-motivated, proactive, results oriented professional with an ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Adapts easily to changing priorities, methods, and timelines
- Must be able to work comfortably at heights, on ladders, lifts & stage grids
- Must be able to travel as required
- Must live in location specified above
- Ability to lift 50 pounds comfortably and to stand / walk for extended period.
- Willing to take on additional responsibilities as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Currently enrolled and studying to obtain a 4 yr degree in Lighting Design / technology, Technical Direction/ applicable program.
REASONING SKILLS: Ability to exercise and display good judgment and prioritize projects.
