FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NASHVILLE, TN – Bandit Lites proudly supported the 2025 Zach Top tour with a lighting package and production workflow designed to elevate every performance while delivering consistency, efficiency, and impact night after night. With a strong emphasis on prep quality, collaborative crews, and hands-on programming, the tour’s lighting approach was built to translate seamlessly from rehearsals to the road – and to the audience.
Lighting Director and Bandit Lites employee AJ Quintel credits Bandit’s prep process as a major factor in the tour’s success.
“One of my favorite things about working with Bandit is definitely prep quality. The attention to detail during prep and the time dedicated to make sure each part of the rig is ready really helps the rig fly together at rehearsals and on the road, as well as making our crews look efficient and effective,” said Quintel.
That meticulous preparation also gave the creative team the opportunity to fully explore new fixtures and design elements before hitting the road. Hanging the full rig in person allowed Quintel to program with confidence – seeing how fixtures filled real space, read on camera, and interacted as a complete system.
“I loved being able to hang the whole rig in person for programming. This let us get eyes on the new MAC One fixture and how it filled in real space as well as how it read on camera. It also helped us test how to hang our giant ‘Zach Top’ LED sign,” Quintel explained.
Bandit’s extensive inventory and flexibility further supported the tour across festivals, rodeos, and one-off performances, allowing Quintel to prep for unfamiliar fixtures and ensure cloning translated exactly as intended – reducing stress and maintaining visual consistency show to show.
Beyond the equipment, Quintel emphasized the importance of Bandit’s people and culture in shaping both the show and the experience on the road.
“Another awesome thing about Bandit are the crews I have been a part of. I’ve been lucky to be surrounded with not only people I’ve looked up to, but also people that have grown their skills alongside myself. The amount of time Bandits spend together in and out of work creates a bond and sense of camaraderie that makes it easier to do our job and makes it more enjoyable to be out on the road.”
One standout moment of the show came during the opening hits of “I Never Lie,” where lighting and music combined for a powerful audience reaction.

“We start from black and use the Chauvet Strike Array 2 and 4 blinders to kick off the song. All of the blinders on stage right hit on the first note, then all of the blinders on stage left hit on the second note. Without fail, this song and its big kickoff evokes the loudest crowd reaction, and phones come out in droves to get a video,” Quintel said.
With bold visual moments, a thoughtfully engineered rig, and a crew-first philosophy, Bandit Lites is proud to have played a key role in bringing the 2025 Zach Top tour to life and excited to be hitting the road with him again in 2026!
