Bandit Lites Goes Big with New Clay Paky Purchase

NASHVILLE, TN – Bandit Lites, the world’s leader in concert lighting, made a substantial investment in new gear with a recent purchase of hundreds of Clay Paky fixtures. Bandit added Clay Paky Xtylos Mini HPS, Clay Paky Xtylos and Clay Paky Volero Wave fixtures to their touring inventory.

The Xtylos is a compact beam moving light with unique optical and chromatic characteristics, making use of a tailor-made RGB laser source that lasts for 20,000 hours. The Mini Xtylos HPS a smaller compact version, while still boasting the same saturated, deep colors.

The Volero Wave is so cutting edge in the industry, it makes its debut with Bandit Lites.

“Being the first in the world to offer the new and unreleased Clay Paky Volero wave is an honor,” said Jake Tickle, Bandit Lites Vice President of Business and Innovation.

These fixtures will initially be seen on Nick Whitehouse’s design for Carrie Underwood’s Denim & Rhinestones Tour.

“New tech and new offerings can be a gamble in our industry, but these offerings coming out of Clay Paky are a homerun,” added Tickle. “We had nothing but top-notch support from the entire Clay Paky team. Special thanks for George Masek, Filippo Frigeri and Julie Smith for making everything happen in our very tight timeline. I’m looking forward to seeing these units on our productions for years to come.”

“Julie Smith is absolutely amazing,” said Bandit Lites Chair Michael T. Strickland. “You could not ask for a better person or better supplier. Julie always goes above and beyond, and we will always love her for her amazing performance. Clay Paky could not have a better representative!”
